Mikebrain.xyz is a research practice started by Tobias Gray. Tobias is interested in the importance of exchanging creative processes in local and global contexts. Mikebrain.xyz is simply a catchy name that puts an emphasis on learning.

Mikebrain.xyz, like a brain, is split into two hemispheres:

The Local Hemisphere consists of Peer Labs. Peer Labs are local collaborative instances in which individuals are invited to learn skills inside local contexts. Peer Labs are experiments into how collective learning can benefit local identity and culture.

The Global Hemisphere are blog posts that serve as a place to share explorations globally. They are globally accessible, and include guest contributions, such as Taku from Kyoto, Japan in blog post #1.
