ABOUT: Mikebrain.xyz I.R.L. (Informal Research Lab)

Mikebrain.xyz is an informal research lab where contributors are invited to explore any intersection of the vocabulary listed but not limited to. The name ‘mike brain’ doesn’t have an inherent meaning besides the association of the brain to learning. 

Summer 2024: Blog founded with the entent of being a place for sharing, experimentation, and asking questions.

Fall of 2024/spring 2025: Mikebrain.xyz turns into a workshop/installation series in Syracuse, New York. Through two installations and four workshops, Mikebrain.xyz explored collaboration and informal learning environments in Syracuse, New York.
Fall 2025: Mikebrain.xyz is renamed to Mike Brain Informal Research Lab. A new name to reflect the same goals. It may hense forth be refered to in various ways, Mike Brain Informal Research Lab, mikebrain.xyz, M.B.I.R.L., or The I.R.L.
