About this blog,
Mike Brain is a seudonym for Tobias Gray a design student at Syracuse University. This blog serves as outlet for him to explore his interests in nomadic design, community building, and how the designed enviornment can manifest itself in different ways.
The blog is split into two distinct portions, the first being the blog posts, which serve as a place to share ideas. There are guest contributions, such as Taku in blog post #1 and blog post #6.
The second portion of the blog is Reflections, which consist of reviews of physical in person events hosted under the Mike Brain brand. These events serve as opportunities to showcase or learn a skill, with the emphasis being on benefit for a local community. It is taking the globally accessible ideas of the blog and localizing them.
